It's been an exciting month! Let's break down all that's been going on <3

1. Successful Playtesting!

On October 27, we put out the call for play testers, and the response completely blew us away. We originally said we would bring in around thirty five testers. Instead we ended up with fifty nine, and hundreds of more messages asking to help! Your feedback played a huge role in getting the update into the shape it is in now, and we cannot thank you enough. To give you a peek at what people had to say, here are a few highlights from the playtesting survey.

2. Launch of Early Access for the Welcome Week Update V0.2.0

On November 14, we launched Early Access for the Welcome Week Update V0.2.0 and the reaction has been fantastic! Seeing so many of you dive into the update and share your experiences has been incredibly motivating for us. On December 12, the update becomes available for free on both Itch and Steam, and we cannot wait for even more players to jump in.

3. Small Patch Coming in the Public Release on December 12

Player feedback is a huge part of how we continue improving the game. One of the biggest questions we received was about finding the theater on the map, so we've made a small quality of life adjustment for the public release. Instead of requiring you to find the map, you will now receive it directly on the first morning before class. It is a simple fix, but one that we think will make early navigation much smoother.

4. Character Update Poll

In case you missed the flurry of posts these past couple weeks, Jun won our very first Character Update Poll. She will be the focus of our first official Character Update, which will begin immediately after the HookUp App Feature Update. Her story is already shaping up to be something really special and we cannot wait to share more.

5. HookUp App Progress

The HookUp App is coming together really well and it is already feeling like an exciting new part of the game. Kicks has been doing amazing work getting the system up and running in game, and we are also in talks with an animator who may be joining us to help bring some of the spicy scenes to life.

This will be a smaller update that introduces the new gameplay mechanic, with plans to expand it over time by adding more characters and more animations in future updates.

6. Peter Wallpaper Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, Junior and Senior tier supporters will get access to a brand new exclusive Peter wallpaper. It is easily one of our favorites so far! The Ella wallpaper will follow shortly after!

7. Peter's Playlist Update!

Peter has updated his Spotify playlists with new songs that fit just about any vibe you can think of!

8. Progress Tracker Reset

The progress trackers have officially been reset. We are already making strong headway on the HookUp App Feature Update and it feels great to see the next phase taking shape.
